Does Scotch g bad?!

Question: I have an old bottle of scotch that is about 85% full it has been opened and sat closed in a dark undercounter of a bar for the last fifteen years. Is it still good( taste and healthy?) I mean I won't get sick or anything from it will I?

Spirits most certainly don't go bad. But they lose their integrity.

Personal experience, had a class of Johnnie Walker Red Label on the rocks two nights in a row. One was very unpleasant relative to the other one, and I know the unpleasant one was older.

Let me come over and try a glass if I don't get sick just let me keep on enjoying.

no should be fine

So long as the cap was on tight, you shouldn't have any problems.

maybe

No alchol doesn't go bad but it won't taste like a bottle of scotch that you'd by from the store. It has been opened and all of that oxygen has changed to stuff.

It should be just fine, as long as it has been kept in a fairly climate controlled condition. meaning it hasn't been exposed to temperature extremes. you can tell by smell. if it smells bad then do not drink it if it smells good then it is fine.
