What's the right way to make a bahama mama and a mai tai?!

Question:

What's the right way to make a bahama mama and a mai tai?

Answers:
Its hard to say which is the right way to make a bahama mama or a mai tai. These drinks have been so mangled from their original reciepes That if made them side by side you would think they were different drinks. What happens is bars dont have the right stuff to make them so they alter it to be close.. This happens over and over again untill its completely a new drink..I myself know at least four reciepes for a mai tai and 5 for a bahama mama. Another example of a bastardize drink is the sex on the beach...(at least 8 different reciepes out there)

The ones that are most poplular at our tiki bar in Daytona Beach are.

Mai TI
dark rum 3/4
light rum 3/4
apricot brandy 3/4
orange, pine, splash of grenidine
myer's floter
(not saying this is the original reciepe, but its the most popular one where i am)

Bahama Mama
light rum 3/4
dark rum 3/4
coco nut rum 3/4
bana liquor 3/4
orange, pine, little cran for color.

Bahama mama I'm not sure.

Mai Tai is 1oz rum, 0.5 oz tripple sec, 0.5 oz dark rum, fill almost to top w/ sour mix, shake, top off with orange juice and garnish with cherry, pineapple and mint leaf.
