How much should one expect to drink on 21st birthday?!

Question: My 21st birthday is on saturday. I'm going with friends to a bar/resturant (after dinner I'm going to the bar). I was wondering how much/many drinks are usually drank at a 21st party (don't say 21...that isn't going to happen!) I was hoping to enjoy about 4 drinks, but is that too few (or even too much)? It's not my first time drinking, so I'll be drinking drinks with a little kick to them... Also, slightly irrevelavant but do you think my friends will hate/be very mad at me if I end up sick?? I sure hope not...

Your friends are probably going to buy you shots and try to get you drunk. Just don't get sick ON the bar.

Your friends probably won't get made at you, but I'm sure they'll laugh at you the next day.

Take a cab home.

Have fun and Happy Birthday!!

It depends on how much you drink now... if you are a lightweight, dont' feel bad if you are turning down shots... if you drink often, expect to have more.... don't over do it.

Just drink however much you want to drink. There's no law that says you have to drink just because you've turned 21 and there's no law that says you have to drink a certain amount. And keep in mind that you're harming your liver and destroying your brain cells when you drink. Happy 21st!

Just keep in mind if can't remember then it is probably wise not to try......Because no matter what any one writes,or you decide. Your friends are sure to try and get you beastly drunk....

You will not have much say in how much you drink. Your friends will make a bigger deal out of you birthday than you want them to.

Have a person you can trust to take you home and look out for you. Please do not puke on or in the bar. That is the true sign of an amateur. You friends will not get mad if you get sick, but they will tease you.
