Does it help to tap the top of a cold beer in a can before you open it to prevent foaming?!
Answers: I see kids all the time tapping the top of soda/beer cans before they open it because they say it keeps it from foaming over? Is this true?
Tapping the top of a cancausing the few drops on top of the can to fall into the beer. This way, it won't spray on your hand.
Tapping it or shaking it makes it worst.

I just don't know about beer cans--I do know about beer bottles tho. I have numerous friends who will bang the bottom of their beer bottle on the top of mine which will make it foam over. but---if you have something hard, like a cigarette lighter handy & bang the side of your bottle with it---it will stop foaming
