What is the best way to keep a wasted person from driving if you can't find there wallet and car keys?!
Answers: Say, if you can't find the keys to the car how on Earth do they think they will find 'em! If you are at a nightclub when this happens, have the bouncer or other friends help put the person in your car for you to drive 'em home. Have a few ppl stay at your place and take turns being awake to make sure the person doesn't get up and leave quietly.

Have the police ready, physically restrain them etc. Take their cell phone. Even the drunkest tosser won't leave to go home without checking for their cell phone first.
Tell them you heard something coming from under the hood and disconnect a spark plug cap or two.

Ask for the keys and threaten to call the police if they don't hand them over. Anything that happens after that is completely their responsibility. You've done your part by trying to take their keys and calling the police.

Calling the cops is not a good answer. How would you feel if you may have drank one too many and people called the cops on you and you went to jail. Wouldn't you appreciate someone helping you out?

u literally have to physically restrain them. Dont call the cops if its one of ur friends..try to get into the car before them and lock the doors dont let them into the car

I would tell my friend to stick around and have another drink...Go into the next room and call a cab...Keep an eye out and when the cab shows up tell my friend their ride is here. Make sure you pay for the cab as your drunk friend may not have any cash. He'll pay you back the next day when you give him a ride to his car.
