What is shot glass suppose to contain?!

Um...all sorts of different ones. Usually not beer or wine. A shot is sort of a serving size for hard liqouor. But you can also use it for liquers. Some i can think of off hand are vodka, gin, whiskey, midori, sambuka, tequila. The list could go on and on. If you ask for a shot of....that's what a shot glass is for. Any liquor you don't drink in a large glass that is not being served either on ice or in a mixed dribnk can be served in a shot glass.

but to be classified as a shot glass, it should be able to hold a minimum of 1 oz of liquid.

a shot glass is supposed to contain alcohol. Usually a shot of vodka, bourbon, etc. But also they do make "Shot" drinks such as "duck farts" "slippery nipple" etc.

Usually just spirits.
