i got em out-i took a long metal rod with a sharp end and go a bunch out-but in the end the best method is to flip the bottle upside down and gently break it leaving atleast 2 inches of glass with the crystals unbroken-and wiping with a wet papertowl around the broken edge so u dont get and glass- then flipping it back upright and scraping them till they come out-its quite a hassle but very rewarding!

When I was younger, we broke the glass...but then again after drinking we didn't know really if we were eating crystals or glass.....Just make sure to do it sober if you do.

tough one! & you WANT those crystals don't you??!!
i don't think soaking will help, as that's how they spent there short life anyway!
the neck of the aftershock bottle is quite narrow, so not much good digging in there!
what if you microwaved the bottle so the crystals soften?? they'll harden again afterwards.
or, patiently use a metal skewer & scrape 'em out?
good luck mate!

We used a really long flat head screwdriver and broke the crystals up to get em out.

We used to soak the bottle in hot water for a few minutes then take a long handled spoon with a stiff handle and use it as an ice pick, or better yet find a long screwdriver just don't hit it to hard. It does work, but takes some work.
