Does sake freeze?!

Question:

Does sake freeze?

Answers:
All liquids freeze even alcohol. The typical house hold freezer will not get cold enough to freeze it though. I think the freezing point for straight alcohol is -100 and the freezer is more like -10.

Some types of sake are meant to be served chilled, but I have never tried one that was served from a freezer.

Sake, some times called rice wine, is actually a beer since it is made from grain. Like all naturally fermented drinks it has a maximum potential alcohol content of around 12% like any beer or wine.
