Answers: i have never drink before. and i am confused about what is the difference between brandy,whiskey,wine,etc there are just so many types.

Rum, Brandy, Cognac, Whiskey, Tequila, Scotch, Vodka, Gin, Wine, Beer, Champagne.
Small glasses are used for quick shots of the liquor of your choice.
There are two kinds of Alcohol:
-The kind that tastes good and gets you drunk slower (Wine, Beer, Champagne...)
-The kind that tastes really really bad which they call "hard alcohol", and they get you drunk faster (Tequila, Whiskey, Drambue, Scotch, Brandy, Gin, Rum...)
There are an almost unlimited variety, but the three that you will ordinarily encounter are:
- Methyl, CH3OH, used as fuel for high performance engines. Toxic.
- Ethyl, C2H5OH, which shows up in beer, wine, and distilled spirits. Used as stove fuel, and as a motor fuel additive.
- Propyl, C3H7OH, typically as isopropyl
[(CH3)2CHOH], used in rubbing alcohol.

The difference between Brandy, Cognac, Vodka, etc is what they are made with and how they are made..just like the difference between Sprite and Pepsi..ingredients.
