Question: I also suffer from migraines and if one more person says "its the tannins" I will snap. if you love red wines but want to drink a white try a viognier. Considered the white wine for red wine drinkers. Yalumba Eden Valley viognier is excellent but there are many others at a lower price.

To deal with your migraines: red wines from warmer climates are worse. Try to stick to old world wines, french italian and spanish. More regulations less additives.

And finally if you can sip tea and eat grapes (skin included) tannins are not causing your migraines.
