Something in the wine is bring out the inner you.

mine also turn black. it depends on the wine, as some is more tannic than others....

Just go with the flow and dress like a vamp too - that way no-one will comment :]

I'm a black lipped wino also - isnt everyone?

Your lips are probably a little dry. You can try exfoliating and moisturising them. The best way to exfoliate lips is to gently brush them with an old toothbrush. Then moisturise with a lip balm or vaseline.

My do with some red wines. I just make sure I rinse my mouth out with water at regular intervals lol.

my fella also has the same thing happen to his lips after drinking red wine..... looks cool, enjoy it!

they are too dry and the stain gets stuck in the cracks of your lips
wear lots of lip balm when you drink wine(will act a bit like a waterproof) and will keep your lips hydrated.
more improtantly, it will stop the black lip problem

Wipe your mouth from time to time

mine do

thought everyones did, try putting vaseline on your lips while your drinking in

d hemoglobin content in ur body is really low....

It's the tannin in wine that leaves the colour. Some wines have more than others, and younger wines will generally have riper tannins more likely to do this. It also depends how much you drink. Don't worry about it, all part of the fun.

That happens to me, too. My lips are always chapped. I just kind of go with it. There isn't much to do, except avoiding red wine (never!) or brushing your lips with a toothbrush (it removes the wine and exfoliates your lips).

If drink enough red wine, and everybody's lips will turn red or black. It is caused by the skins from the grapes. Nothing you can do about it
