My experience is that it's an emotional amplifier.
Intrinsically mean people get outwardly mean when drunk.
Intrinsically happy people giggle when they get drunk.

Maybe a low tolerance or allergic reaction to the sugar in the alcohol.

There's an old saying, 'a drunk mind speaks a sober heart'.
I think the 'mean drunks' are really mean people.

there drunk and makes them out of control

alcohol is alcohol...

Regardless of the type of alcohol, it reacts with the body the same way. People get "mean" on some types of alcohol more than others for the simple reason that they drink more or less of it in specified time period.

The only thing that could affect you differently would be the sugar or caffeine content....for example a mixed drink. People with bi-polar disorders, hypomania, diabetic, or other hyperactive disorders ...should avoid the combination of vodka and red bull.

Well theyv got to be`specially when they dont get answers to there 360 mail`??

I just recently heard Dr. Oz on Oprah say that dark liquors have toxins in them that cause worse hang-overs than clear ones, such as vodka. And I know from experience that when a person drinks, their true personality emerges...So, if a person is harboring mean thoughts, they will surely come out, no matter what the drink of choice.

It doesn't matter whether one is drinking dark liquor, light liquor, beer, wine or schnapps, drinking effects different personalities different ways. The inherent meanness is released by drinking. That is the cause of much violence in the household. Then there are others who are very happy when they are half shot. Life is just great for them.

It all depends on your mood and the environment your are in.
