I had a delicious mango martini at Coastal Flats. Made with Cruzan rum... any help is much appreciated!

Answers:
Mango Martini
1 oz Cruzan? mango rum
1 oz Bacardi? light rum
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's? lime juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice
1 splash mango puree

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Have fun!!

there are several recipes for Mango martinis.....none that I found had...rum in it...but if you find an internet site for them maybe they would give you the basic recipe...all you can do is try....

Daiquiris are made with rum. Margaritas are made with tequila.

Martini's are made with vodka, or gin - or can be called Manhattans, be made with bourbon, or with or without vermouth.

You need a drink that is served chilled, with no ice, in a martini glass, that has mango flavor, and martini bite to it.

A typical martini is a made with a strainer, vodka over ice, a splash of vermouth, shake, drain, and garnish with an olive.

Your creation should take vodka over ice in strainer, splash of mango flavored liquor (or perhaps just mango juice - no more alcohol). Shake, drain, and garnish with a mango slice.

This probably won't taste too good. But it's your first attempt. Your palette can take you places.

From experience, I would gander that the best mix to have of this to drink is 1 part Mango liquor to 2 parts vodka. Chill, shake, drain, and serve garnished with a mango slice.

Cruzan Rum is AWESOME, but can't help you with the recipe. Try this, though, I made this one up myself a couple weekends ago. I took Welch's Pineapple/Guava juice and mixed it with Malibu Mango Rum....MmmMmmm....
