The wine costs about $10. Its not a bad wine but its nothing special. Its an inexpensive branded wine from a well known negotiant/shipper.

You can stick it in your suitcase, but, really why bother? There's plenty of similar wines back home and many better and more interesting Bordeaux. May as well drink up now.

If you are going to bring anything home, a bottle or two of Brazilian wine would be a better souvenir.

Go ahead and polish that baby off!

Louis Eschnauer is a good quality wine, but It probably won't travel well over that distance. 2001 is still a relatively young wine anyway. Drink up!

drink it up :D or gimme some :D

finish it off, some wines are not to be kept too long.

You've already opened it? Go ahead and finish it off.

Could you check the spelling? Wine Spectator online doesn't have anything under that name.

2001 was a good year for bordeaux. I don't know the brand, so I can't be more specific. Can you maybe contact the winery and ask them when it should be drank?
