We are all entitled to our opinions, I prefer a beer or two, and I respect those that don't drink.
When they start press their beliefs on me then it tics me off.
One reason is that some people ask for advice.
another reason is that a lot have very dangerous drinking habits.
also, I have been there and did it to excess. I try to warn younger ones against potentially dangerous drinking stunts.
I agree! I just asked a question regarding this type of topic this morning!
It is starting to drive me CRAZY when people basically scold others for smoking, driving without seatbelts, drinking, using a blowtorch to make toast, etc - just because of the content of the question! GRRRRRRRRR to all of them.
Though I agree with you that it can be frustrating to have nondrinkers answer questions with crap like "drinking is bad for you" or "your stupid for drinking" or "I'm only 13 lmo" or something like that... I must also defend peoples right to answer questions on a open forum. I just wish they wouldn't be stupid about it and would give well thought out answers.
