i have about 30 yrs of skoal dipping under my belt. all i can tell you is trial and error. ive been off it for over 2 yrs now.but man i bet a dip would really taste good right now.You have to pack it in tight to keep it in one place.Dont worry tho cuz after a while and lots of chew a little space will develop that it just feels natural for the dip to be there. But its time to quit when you put in a dip and it feels like your whole mouth is on fire.

have a cigarette.

well the lighthead is a buzz, it's nice most people like myself dont get that anymore, i cant remeber when it wears off. if you have a nice tight pinch then it shouldnt move around, so maybe your just not packing it tight enough. but it will always get on your tongue, there's not much you can do about that unless you start using pouches....

i'm 20 years old and started when i was 12...first off pack it as well as possible, then use your fingers to trap it against the side of the can..then try to pinch it tight, placing it in either the left or right side of your lower lip..the middle can really irritate i new chewer...and press it into place with your tongue..perfect way to chew

get redman chew..its the straight up leaf and taste delichious.....i have some in right now!!!!
