3 for me. If you drink it with other stuff during a night out, it'll feel like an axe is buried in your forhead the next morning! Don't forget to burn some sugar to put in!

jeez...that stuff can kill you. Be careful

im gonna say 3 have 911 on speed dial! lol

I don't know but I would love to test it.

1 perhaps 2....the do have a safer legal version of it now

The current version of absinthe lacks the bitter herb that once made it terribly addictive. And, if you drank too much, it would kill you. The Fed outlawed it a long time ago.. They gave permission for this new version as long as the drug was left out.

Drugs are for losers. Way to go.

You don't shots of absinthe it would kill you. Absinthe is 100% alcohol. You need to make it a mixed drink. And I don't even recommend that.

2-3 so I have been told, any more than that 911!!

The only drug in absinthe is and always has been alcohol. When you get "high" on alcohol we generally call it "drunk," or perhaps "buzzed." The actual physiological effects will be exactly identical to those of vodka, whiskey, or what have you. Everything else is just the results of alcohol on your already-overactive imagination.

first of all in the US you arent going to get real absinthe.
The absinthe you get in the US will not have the wormwood in it that will get you "high". Unless you got a friend bringing it over from europe, you'll just be getting drunk. Traditionally you would dilute the absinte with sugar and water(hence the slotted spoon often comes with) and not take shots. So under the assumption you are not drinking real absinthe, look at the abv % and compare accordingly.
