Drinking Maker's Mark?!
Answers: What is the best way to drink Maker's Mark? I really enjoy it with coke. But what are some other great ways to drink it, such as straight up, old fashioned, on ice. I am just looking for more ways to drink it and what are your favorite ways to drink Maker's Mark.
I like Maker's on the rocks but I also like a Manhattan now and again. Two parts bourbon mixed with one part sweet vermouth and a dash of bitters (optional garnish with a cherry.) Some people add a dash of maraschino cherry juice but I prefer my drinks simple.
Makers Mark is a well crafted spirt and I would drink it neat or over ice. If you do not like it strong splash grenidine in it.
Coke kills Bourbon - too sweet. Enjoy it straight on the rocks or if you need to sweeten it try a Mint Julep, or add some vermouth and a cherry for a Manhattan. Makers is also great in eggnog.
Don't waste Maker's Mark by mixing it with anything at all. Buy cheap bourbon to mix. Drink Maker's Mark with a little ice made from distilled water. I prefer it neat. Want one step up? Try Knob Creek.
