What's the best tasting cheap bottled beer?!
Answers: I love Sam Adams, but it's getting to be a bit pricey and I've really got to cut back on my spending. What's a decent cheap beer that comes in a bottle (I hate cans except in the summer). And no crappy 40oz please! Thanks!
Sam Adams is the least expensive of the micro-brewery style beers.
I've tried beers like Michelob Amber, but those are just colored versions of their other crappy beers in my opinion.
For all you "men" who think Budweiser is the greatest thing - did you know that before WWII Bud was more like Sam Adams style, they changed the formula to make it more appealing to women when the majority of men were fighting WWII. So Bud, Coors, Miller etc.. are womens beers. Don't believe me, take the distributers/retailers class taught by Anheuser Busch.
Nothing better than the red, white and blue. Budweiser its what beer is supposed to taste like.
I like Miller Genuine Draft (MGD)
Cascade Light or Hahn Light are both brilliant, and they're often on special.
You can go on the low end price range with a ton of different beers. Some popular cheap choices: Budweiser, Bud Light, Natural Light (tastes like bud light but way cheaper), Miluwakee's Best, Natural Ice (bottled version of Light), Miller, etc. The list goes on and on. If you are a Sam Adams kind of beer guy then I'm doubting you like the taste of the Budweiser type beers.
Red Dog
Some of my favorite beers are dark and/or heavy especially micro brews. But a lot of these favorites are too expensive for me to drink or keep on hand regularly. So my all time favorite is Coors Light. It's fairly inexpensive. It comes in pretty much any quantity packaging would might want, 6 pack, 12 pack and 20 pack (bottles, of course, I'm not of fan of the can either). It's just really easy to drink and it tastes good without leaving an aftertaste.
sorry man can't really get much cheaper than sam adams if you want a decent beer - theres always the millers and coors etc if you want cheap.......
