Going on a bender?!
Answers: How long must one be drinking or how much must one drink to have "gone on a bender"? I suspect that I have already qualified during this NFL playoff weekend, but want to be sure and am a bit unclear on the exact requirements.
a bender could last only a night, if you can use any of the criteria below to describe said night:
1. 6 or more hours of drinking
2. blackouts or spotty memory
3. waking up in an odd place - naked on the neighbor's front lawn amidst the pink flamingo lawn ornaments, or jail, for example
4. extra adornments - piercings, tattoos, homegrown haircut, stamps on your hand to clubs you've never heard of, a sudden spouse
5. vomit in the fish tank
If you have urinated anywhere besides the toilet , it's a bender.
