Buddy i am the man with the plan here, anything sweet. Cranberry juice is a favorite and is whats most preferred but orange juice, pineapple juice, sprite, grape juice. The list goes on forever. Anything that's can bypass the taste of the vodka is great so two thumbs up and

Try this:
In a bowl....
1 bottle of vodka
6 cans of beer (bud works fine)
1/2 gal of orange juice
Mix it up and serve in a glass with ice.
Enjoy.

i like vodka cuz its a good buzz and it covers up fairly well. but i cant stand the taste. lemonade covers up the horrible taste pretty well. in germany vodka energi is very popular and i love it, simply add red bull or your favorite energy drink. a classic screwdriver is always good, just add oj, or add some cranberry juice to that for a different twist. citrus seems to work well with vodka so you could prolly make a good drink to suit your own taste by playing with you favorite citrus drinks...pineapple, grapefruit, lime, lemon, orange....cranberry, pomegranite, and grenadine are good adds to any drink....pick and mix and you might create your very own variety.
If you are using regular vodka you can mix it with pretty much anything.
For a fruity drink try Vodka with:
cranberry
apple (copperhead)
pineapple
orange juice (screw driver) -can also add soco to this
etc.
For a sweet (after dinner drink) try Vodka with:
Kahlua and milk (white russian)
Kahlua (black russian)
chocolate liquor, cream (chocolate martini)
For an afternoon drink try Vodka with:
Tomato juice, tabasco (bloody mary)
Flavored vodkas such as Vanilia Vodka go great with sodas like coke and ginger ale.

Vodka is perfect for mixing because its clear, should be relatively odourless, and tasteless. Citrus juices go well with it. Try Orange, Lime, or Grapefruit. You can mix all three in varying proportions (to your taste). Ice is nice too. If you want to further complicate your cocktail, cranberry juice is a favourite (try the sweetened kind). To optionally take it one step further you add a few table spoons of a "syrup" after you mix and pour the drink. It makes for a nice visual effect (as it settles at the bottom of the glass) as well as a little flavour boost. If you go to a Supermarket you can find fruit syrups like raspberry syrup blueberry syrup pomegranate syrup (which reminds me there is this stuff called grenadine that works well its basically pom syrup. you can find it in the liquor section or ask an employee) You can also make a table sugar syrup. Lots of sugar and water! You heat it until it thickens slightly and you can store it in a jar for future use.
the good thing about clear liquor is it's good with anything...any kind of juice will do, anyone had their favorite just try somethings
