What do you like better a local micro-brew or a commerical brand?

Local micro brew...its richer with the active yeast in it but they don't last long.

one of the best beers ive tasted is "roosters" from the same named micro-brewery in Yorkshire, UK. However, the live yeasts dont suit my health, so I find myself drinking refreshing light american and australian commercial beers. I also like IPA's (India Pale Ales) but once again, live yeasts really dont suit me.
mmm microbrews soo good. it's fun to try very different types of beers that may are brewed locally. I work at a brewery and so much goes into making the beer that it is very rewarding to taste it afterwards.

I always try to support a local or regional craft brewer. Typically, the beers have more character anyway.

I'll go micro-brews even one better -- home brew. I like my own beer much better.
