I weigh 95 lbs, does 5 mixed drinks really put me over the legal limit if it took more than 2 hours to drink.?!
Answers: I went to the club at 5 and left around 9. That is more than two hours. I should be under the legal limit, shouldn,t I. I recently got a DUI and they say I was over the legal limit. But, I think their test is inaccurate.
Hi, it generally takes an hour after each single drink to be sober again. It would have taken 5 hours or even more based on your weight to get the alcohol out of your system completely. Last year I got my first "fake" DWI because I used mouthwash with 25% alcohol in it. I was pulled over for a license plate light out not 5 minutes after using mouthwash at my house because I had a hot date. I had not been drinking at all. But I got screwed and the judge even though I brought the mouthwash with me on my pleading date refused to believe it. Even a taped episode of MythBusters proved I was in the right, but he said thats TV, not real lfe. I hate NY.

At 95 lbs, yes, you were highly likely to be over the limit. The estimates that you digest one drink per hour is for a 160 lb person.
As far as I know, it takes the body at least an hour to metabolize one ounce of alcohol completely.
So, I would say the odds are pretty good, if you were to be pulled over, you'd get nailed for driving under the influence.
