Is an alcoholic?!

Question: some who drinks everyday to you or someone who needs that drink.

Answers: some who drinks everyday to you or someone who needs that drink.

someone who drinks all the time and worse spend and borrows or worst steal money just to spend it all on drinking.

They stink even if they took a bath, alcohol smell just keeps coming out from their skin pores. (belching)

both,
if you drink every day than you need that drink

both. My sister's husband is doing both and he is going to meetings now to stop or my sister is going to divorce him. He is a great father, just drinking too much!!

If alcohol adversely effects your life or another persons in any way then that's what I would see as alcoholism. Drinking every day in moderation (eg a glass of wine with dinner) isn't doing any harm. If, however, you drink everyday copious amounts that will have ill effects for your health, then harm is certainly being done.

Probably someone who needs it.
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
Benjamin Franklin

either or

som1 who drinks only on weekends could b 1 if they drink uncontrolly on the weekends

Someone who drinks since early in the morning because they need that drink.

I think its someone that can't just sit down and have a drink and then stop, like they have no control!!

Definitely not somebody who drinks daily, small doses of various alcohols have studies which suggests that could possibly be healthy.

An alcoholic is somebody who jones for the booze like a crack head needs a rock.

I would have to say someone who tried to stop or take it easy for a few weeks and just can't. I think sometimes we all "need" and certainly many people (especially Europe) have a drink every day.

"Needing" any mood-altering chemical, like alcohol, is an addiction. Yes, that constitutes alcoholism.

I'd like to add that daily consumption does not always mean the person is an alcoholic. It depends on many more factors. But feeling need, or craving, is a big warning sign.

To me it's someone who needs that drink. A person that drinks everyday is not an alcoholic if they don't drink to get drunk. You can have a few beers to unwind and to me that's OK.

I have 1 glass of wine with my dinner everyday. I am not an alcoholic, I think it is classfied as someone who NEEDS to drink.. I can go to a party or bar and not drink and still have a good time.

alcoholics go to meetings I am a drunk thank you!
=)

An alcoholic is a person who can not control themselves or their drinking when they are drinking. It is also a person who needs a drink instead of wanting one.

Mu definition is that a person who needs that daily drink, and can't leave it alone for a few days.

there is nothing wrong with a recreational drink

an alcholic is someone who cant stop drinking

plain and simple

Both.

It is a matter of personal opinion, someone who needs a drink everyday is an alcoholic, because a need for something is a sign of a definet problem, however someone who drinks everyday likely has a problem but won't admit that they do, in order for someone to admit they have a problem and thats why they drink everyday, they would have to admit that they have to have it first....Although outsiders looking in can see that there is a problem

Hope that answers your question

Neither. It's someone who once they start drinking the chemical reactions in the brain go astray from the so called normal drinker and they don't stop until they have just about sucked out all the oxygen in their blood. May even pass out. This could be once per year, or month or week, etc.

once an alcoholic always an alcoholic, one drink and they are hooked again whether they feel they need it or not.

Someone who needs that drink, whether it's one or twenty.
