Underage citation high school ?!
Answers: im 18 years of age in high school and on sat i went to a party where there was liquor but i did not drink, i let my friend use my cup, well this morning before i went to school i pour some orange juice in the same cup can i guess i forgot there was liquor in there, well i went to school i started to feel alil tipsy but i dint know why, then some kids told me they smelled alochol on my breathe and told the teacher, so they sent me down to the office and i told the princial it was true i did go to a party on sat and there must have been some liquor in there in my thermo cup that i forgot about but i was not drunk and i passed all the test they gave me, but they suspended me from schoool and they said i will probly get a citation. what does that mean ? I make good grades and they know im good student, so will i have to go to court or anything. Im senior in high school and will this mess up my chance of getting in college ???
um well if you obviously did not know about it and you passed everything then you are pretty good off. the school suspeneded you because they have to leagally. I don't know where you live but in my state it is a new law. I am not exactly sure what a citation is tho. But you probly wont get into a ton of trouble and as for college, who hasn't messed up once or twice? I'm sure the people who make the decsions have!

B: why would you drink something from a cup that is like 5 days old?
I'm not sure how you didn't taste the alcohol, but I don't think it should affect your chances of getting into college, especially if you've already applied. If you haven't applied to college yet, you should probably hurry that up.
well if this is the truth, then if it does go to court because you take it to court, then just tell them all of this. theyll have to have an investigation, and theyll figure out that you didnt intentionally drink.
as for the citation, it could just be a fine. it shouldnt affect college since it doesnt involve arrest or put you on a sex offender list. you should be alright, dont worry.
If you hadn't been there to begin with...none of this would be happening dear. Sounds to me like you're reaping the consequences for poor choices. Finding some different friends might be your first step. Doesn't matter if you were drinking there or not....you are guilty by association....wrong king of people to be hangin out with.
