Session beer?!

Question:

Session beer?

Is this a style of beer?

Answers:
A style of beer....no

A session beer is one that has an alcohol by volume level of no more than 5%. One story of how this came to be a description of beer ("this beer is sessionable") is that during WW 1, people could only drink during certain times of day and the needed a beer that they could enjoy the whole liscensed time without getting too drunk

It can also be beer that is only brewed and available during special times of the year. Some companies make just a limited amount. Example is an Oktoberfest beer being only available during the fall. Oh, just realized it says session not seasonal. Sorry for the nonsense
