im looking for a something other than the typical vodka red bull/tonic/pineapple/cranberry... inventive with vodka!

I love apple martinis... try some vodka with some apple puckers... A cherry at the bottom is yummy too & a nice little touch!
How about with Crystal Light. . . lot less calories. .
I like vodka with club soda, zero carbs.
I also like vodka with Squirt [grapefruit soda, diet or regular] which came from the "greyhound" idea: vodka and grapefruit juice. A salty dog is a greyhound in a salt-rimmed glass, like a margarita.
Recently I've been mixing my vodka with Essn brand Meyer Lemon Sparkling Juice. Yum!
I like Hairy Navels. Vodka, Peachtree and OJ. They go down too easy though!
black martini....2 oz vodka...1 oz blue curaco and 1/2 oz chambord.
Vodka with Dr. Pepper grew on me recently when I was mixing a drink while drunk. I thought I had taken rum, which I also like with Dr. P, and started pouring the Dr into my glass, then realized that I had made an error when I drank it. It was delicious though.
Then the next time i was intentionally making that same drink, and they only had vanilla vodka, and it was even better.
So Vodka and Dr. Pepper will be my recommendation.
Vodka with any kind of citrus juice is good though.
