How risky is it to go to bars and clubs when you are underage in college?!

Question:

How risky is it to go to bars and clubs when you are underage in college?

I want to get a fake id but not if it is risky and if i get checked every drink that would not be worth it.

Answers:
I'm 24 and in the States, I get asked for my id every time, because it's the law, and servers have to do it. So no matter if your id is fake or not, that's what's going to happen. If you get caught with a fake id by a server or bartender, most likely, they'll confiscate it and ask you to leave. That's all I've ever heard of happening, although legally, they could call the police.

Pretty. It's a criminal offence in some states and can cause you to lose future driving priveleges.

Don't do it. Have an older friend buy beer/alcohol and just party at home. It's safer and you're not out getting anyone hurt on the road afterwards.

not only is it very risky but illegal.wait until you are 21.you have all your life to become a future alcoholic.

Places either check once you go in, and then you get a stamp or wristband, or they check every time you order a drink. Also, depending how strict the place is,and what the environment is, sometimes people walk around and check IDs more ofen, to make sure people aren't buying drinks for minors and switching to them. . . .Generally, if you get caught with a fake ID you just get kicked out of the place, and they might keep the ID. . .However, it can be worse, and if they want to, could call the cops to get you in real trouble.

We'll I've had a friend that got caught he just got the ID taken away and couldn't go in the club
