Ideas for Mixed drinks that you can't taste the alcohol?!

Question:

Ideas for Mixed drinks that you can't taste the alcohol?

I don't like the taste of alcohol, but I like to go to the bar with the girls or with my boyfriend and sit and have a drink. I love fruity drinks or sweet drinks. Any ideas for some mixed drinks or coctails where I could not taste the alcohol? (that would just taste like fruit punch or candy?) How about at home... any ideas for some simple drinks I could make at home that I wouldn't taste the alchohol either? This seems to me the biggest problem. Bars can always find a way to add random ingredients and make something tasty, but with a limited supply at home, its always harder.

Answers:
Pink Mafia - 1 oz bacardi apple rum, 1 oz cranberry juice, 2 oz pink lemonade in tall glass over ice. You only need one bottle of booze and some simple ingredients for this one. It is SO refreshing! I also like Captain Morgan Parrot Bay rum with pineaple juice.

Malibu rum and pineapple juice or Amaretto sours come to mind. A lot of times bartenders will add grenadine to drinks to make them taste sweet, maybe get a bottle of that to add to your drinks at home. Good luck!

If you don't like the taste of alcohol, don't drink alcohol. You can still go out with friends, everyone loves having a sober driver!

If you want to drink, screw drivers are orange juice and vodka and taste like orange juice. Fuzzy navels are another another OJ drink, this time with peach schnapps. You can make them as strong as your taste buds like, usually 1 shot of alcohol per 6 -10 oz of oj.

Drinking alcohol is bad for you, but hey I'm not here to knock it. I will give you some advice.

If you don't like the taste of alcohol that's a good sign. Follow it.

Anyhow, if you must drink alcohol, the last thing you needs is a Long Island Tea amongst several other drinks available that have lots of alcohol, but you can't taste it.

The sweetness in the drink from fruit punches and so forth hides the alcohol. This is bad on several occasions.

If you can't taste the alcohol, you subject to fall flat on your azz when you realize you've had too much to drink.

a female that means someone may take advantage of your situation. When the walls are spinning your out girl and thats all she wrote.

So!!!
No sweet drinks okay/
Stay away from Long Island Tea.

If you want a decent drink that is respectable and not about getting plastered and drunk. Drink a Sloe Gin Fizz. Don;t listen to other people who make fun. They are the losers. Your going to be a respectable responsible drinker. YOu will geta buzz and still have fun and maintain and nobody takes advantage of you.
Drink a Sloe Gin Fizz

You will like it!!

Try Kermit the Frog Piss, its really sweet and you cant taste any alcohol.

Screwdriver---vodka and oj, sex on the beach- pineapple rum, oj, grenadine enjoy!!

A good whiskey sour. If it's made right, you can't taste the alcohol and it has a lemonade flavor. It's also a very standard drink, so any bartender will know how to make it.

It's also pretty easy to make at home. You just buy a bottle of whiskey sour mix and some whiskey.

Jim Beam (white label) is the best, by the way.

Frozen strawberry daquiris are the one thing I've noticed I can rarely taste the alcohol in. When making them at home go easy on the alcohol (figure no more than a shot per drink). Different alcohols have different potencies. For daquiris (not just strawberry, I make a mango one at home with frozen mango chunks and orange juice), I would recommend Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. Something like Bacardi will taste stronger.
I've found that vodka mixed with any fruit juice will taste like cough syrup. As long as you stick to the 1 shot to one drink rule, lots of drinks become more palatable. Jack Daniels and Sprite is good. Anything made with sour mix at a bar is usually safe: Collins drinks, etc.
For a more potent drink that tastes more "punch-y," order a Grateful Dead (aka. Purple Haze): 1/4 oz each of vodka, gin, rum, and tequila, Chambord (raspberry liqueur), sour mix and a splash of soda. Yum. Be warned that lots of chain bars have a 2 alcohol drink limit, so they may refuse to make it (depending on the bartender, too).

I'm the same way. Vodka is by far the alcohol with the least strong taste.

At home the best drink I've found is vodka and Fresca. Fresca comes in the 2L pop bottles and it's pretty much flavored soda water. You can buy cherry flavor or lemon-lime.

A Washington Apple is a very sweet drink, and, if made right, you can't taste much alcohol. I don't know the exact measurements, but it's made with Apple Schnapps and Cranberry Juice. For a little kick, I like a little vodka mixed in there.

If you get your drinks cold enough with lots of citrus and sugar, it will mask the alcohol to a pretty high percentage content.
The best example is the frozen margarita and it's no accident that it's one of the most popular of all time.
If strong flavored alcohol like tequila, rum or gin is not what you like. Substitude with vodka.
All the ingredients for frozen margaritas, except for the liquor and the blender itself, can be found in 7 Elevens.
Another neat thing about margaritas is that you can make other flavors such as strawberry, melon, black currant, peach and other fruit flavors by adding other liqueurs or flavorings.

Vodka and pure orange Juice, malibu and pineapple or even bacardi and coke :)

try Blueberri Stoli with Sprite. tastes like cotton candy, no alcoholy taste i swear

Yep, its a homemade drink called Yucca. What you need :

6 lemons,
a bag of sugar
1/2 gallon of bad vodka
ice, lots of it
big spoon or even a ski pole
a big container (like the gatorade ones in high school sports)
patience

the key part is stirring, you have to stir a lot, so have a couple dudes with ya. this stuff tastes like lemonade and after 1 or 2 drinks, the guys should have u in your bedroom in no time!

Alabamma Slammer shots taste like kool aide in my opinion it's;

sloe gin
ameretto
oj
southern comfort

Screwdrivers and Cranberry Vodka are my favorite two drinks in which you can't taste the alcohol.

Most famous for this is probably the Long Island Iced Tea though. Be careful with these.
