It's much easier just to add a bit of Bailey's Irish Cream. That has the Irish whiskey and cream already mixed but if that still isn't strong enough for you add a teaspoon of Irish whiskey. A few brands are Middleton, Bushmills, and Cooley. Of these three only Cooley is actually Irish owned but I personally prefer the Middleton. Cheers!

IRISH COFFEE

1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
1 tsp brown sugar
6 oz hot coffee
heavy cream

Combine whiskey, sugar and coffee in a mug and stir to dissolve. Float cold cream gently on top. Do not mix.

IRISH COFFEE

1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 jigger (1 1/2 oz.) Irish whiskey
Whipped cream
Hot, strong black coffee
1/2 jigger Cointreau or brandy

Just before serving: Into 6 to 8 ounce stemmed glass, measure sugar and Irish whiskey. Add hot coffee to fill glass to within 1/2" of top; stir to dissolve sugar. Top with whipped cream; do not stir. Sip coffee through cream. For cold Irish coffee: add small scoop vanilla ice cream to strong iced coffee.
