Will a bottle of whiskey go bad if left in a hot car?!

Question:

Will a bottle of whiskey go bad if left in a hot car?

Answers:
yes, if its under direct sunlight..

No. Alcohol doesn't spoil. Even a "cream" or sugar-based liqueur wouldn't spoil if it was still sealed.

it won't "go bad" - but you will likely lose some taste and color. If it was cheap, I say throw it away! If it was kinda pricey - let it cool back down, throw a splash in a glass with some ice and give it a try!

no

Nope.

Wine will not spoil but taste might change. I agree with what Dasottile said.

Not if you leave me in the car with it, mind you I might not be too well when you get back. Seriously though no it won't affect it but I would not drink it till it's back to room temperature, warm Whisky is not too palatable.
