You can take as much as you want...This is pretty funny but, my wifes Parents live in Johnstown Pa and I am a fan of Yuenglings living in Chicago. So after our christmas vacation to visit the inlaws I transported 6 cases back 3 Yuengling Premium and 3 Yuenglings Premium Light..Thats a great beer...You'll be fine as long as you don't have the whole car packed up past the windows...and your freinds have excellent taste in beer..Just put the cases in the trunk...if you get puled over they have to have propable cause to search your tunk..if your speeding thats not cause enough..thats if it makes you feel better but its totally legal so don't sweat it..you can travel with alcohol as long as its not open..now going across the border to Canada would be a different story..but this is state to state so bring your buddies their beer..lol Good luck

I've traveled from my parents home in PA to Chicago with a back seat full of beer. The toll booth people didn't say anything.

As long as the alcohol isn't opened you are fine. You can't fit enough alcohol in your car for it to be of concern to the ATF. Plus the ATF and authorities are really only concerned if you are transporting it for resale... in large quantities.

yes it is legal they will take it away from u
