Question:

What would you use to remove red wine stains on a wooden floor?

Answers:
Kitcken roll then sandpaper .

dilute bleach

OMG what a waste of red wine - hopefully you mopped it up - or sucked it up like a hoover - before too much damage was done. Seems you may have to resort a sander (for the floor) and a large glass of full bodied Shiraz to commiserate - me I'm off to the bath - candles lit - with a bottle of Sparkling Shiraz in my hand - will give your floor a passing thought.

if your wooden floor is new i would not sand it down it would be a pain to to find an exact colour match to stain it try useing some vinegar let it soak for a few seconds then scrub it up should work if not i have been told before as silly as it sounds that the best thing to remove a red wine stain is white wine never tried it myself but you never now good look anyway hope this helps.

O NOOOOOOO that's what id be saying if it was be especially given what i paid for my oak floor. and id be beating the person that spilt it over the head with a piece of it too. Anyway rant over the best thing to do really is probably sand the entire floor and varnish it again with a really good varnish so that if you spill anything else on it it won't soak in and stain. Maybe try yacht varnish

white wine, no kidding
