Was Budweiser founded in Germany??!

Question:

Was Budweiser founded in Germany??

Answers:
Budweiser was not found in Germany. The original Budweiser was from the Czech Republic. Then the American Budweiser took that name and made it their beer. Then, they actually had the audacity after the fact to try to go back and tell the original Budweiser that they could no longer use that name!

Was in Prague, Czech Republic last year and the original Budweiser was EVERYWHERE!

Good Question, But I will say St. Louis

unlike the previous answer- yes it was found in Germany. Just take a look at the name of the company. I do not think that there are many newborn registered in St Louis under the name "Anheiser Busch".

No, Anheiser -Busch was started in St. Louis, Missouri. Its first name was the Barvarian Brewery!

Yes. AB lost a lawsuit against the original Budweiser for copyright infringement. The original has been around since the 1400's. They are not related companies.

I think you may be referring to the trademark dispute between AB and Czech producer Budejovicky Budvar. Although Budweiser is a German word.

Roots... Yes I think .!
