Would you consider 2-3 glasses of red wine a night an alcoholic?!

Question:

Would you consider 2-3 glasses of red wine a night an alcoholic?

Answers:
It's a litle high, but I wouldn't say it's alcoholic. I would try to keep my consumption down to 3-6 ounces a night, when consuming. Do you have problems going a night without wine? If so, you may want to take a couple weeks off to break the habit.

yes

It is excessive. I would say one glass a 4 or 5 nights a week is fine.

No, not at all...

Wow...I tend to consume the whole bottle! LOL

No...it doesn't

everynight? more than 3 days a week then yes.

As a recovery alcoholic of 23 years, I was taught that it's not what you drink or how much you drink or how often you drink--it's who you become WHEN you drink...if you absolutely NEED that 2-3 glasses every night, I would think about it, but I wouldn't throw you in rehab just yet...there's a lot more than that to being an alcoholic...I only drank once a week, but to excess and I went from quiet and huble to loud and obnoxious and I couldn't see what was wrong with that, until I woke up in another state and didn't know how I got there...

No
Now if you make an donkey of your self then you should question it.
Or things like not making the rent or paying credit cards,
beating the wife,, then you just might want to switch to two beers.

i don't think so. my doctors said i can have 2 glasses every evening.

Hell NO Dont worry about it

I hope not, I drink that nightly. Its called unwinding and I have no problem with it.

I would say as long as your happy with life and its legal...Go for it!

depends on how big the glass of wine is....4oz vs 8oz.
