SOrry, I disagree. I have had too many folks whom I have loved and cared for destroy their lives with the "good happy hovering feeling" that eventually moved into an emotional and physically crash. Since I have seen many loose their lives and the lives of others with their drinking, I don't see 'happy' drunks anymore - just people who are careless. I know you didn't ask for this, but I can never look at drinking the same anymore. Sorry.
