Is there a moon phase that is best to begin winemaking in?!

Question: I've searched the books I have and the internet. In some of the net articles I have read it eludes to a moon chart that winemakers use, but I haven't found a recommendation of what phase the moon should be in when one starts their winemaking. Can anyone help me?

hope this helps, it is for brewing beer, the moon signs should be in cancer or Pisces in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the moon. For canning foods, moon in Cancer and Virgo in the 3rd and 4th quarter, i couldn't find anything on wine making either, good luck, we used to make wine a lot when i was younger, i used to say it was like coloring your hair you never knew how it was going to turn out, we didn't do it by the moon either, sometimes we would get vinegar, some times champagne and other times just good wine.

don't worry about a moon phase thats just hokey pokey
just get busy and make it good luck
korkie

The only moon phase that I can think of that has anything to do with winemaking would be the traditional 'harvest moon', which some people use as the sign to start making cider. As far as regular monthly moon cycles, they really don't have anything to do with winemaking.
