Where should i buy absinthe online?!

Question: i did a search, and of course come up with lots of places, but i didnt know there were soooo many different KINDS of absinthe. from different countires to different colors! i know we cant get REAL absinthe here in the US, and my local abc store doesnt have what we can get, so what do you guys suggest? where have you gotten it? i thought it would be a fun treat for my fiance for valentines day. we've never had it, but it would be a nice addition to our bar

No matter what, you CANNOT find REAL Absinthe in this country... the thujone made it illegal, and it becomes legal last year... guess what was taken out?

This site www.greenfairy.org has the highest thujone available in the world. I have bought from them numerous times and am always completely satisfied!

www.lafeeabsinthe.com

I have ordered from them in the past. Decent Absinthe, fast shipping.

You can get real absinthe in the US now. Not all brands are available but I ordered a bottle of Kubler from drinkupny.com. I did a lot of research before I tried this, I went to feeverte.net and it checked out as having a rating of 83 out of 100 from absinthe enthusiasts. I thought it was a nice bottle. I'm not an enthusiast my self but I have had french absinthe before and I thought Kubler was very comparable and according to Kubler, their recipe hasn't changed since the 19th century.

Lucid and Kübler are 2 brands that are legal to have in the U.S. Although the laws are changing, it is still technically illegal to be in possession of any other brand. Kubler is actually a pretty famous absinthe producer from Switzerland. Your best bet is to go with this brand.
