I plan on going out and partying all night, is it OK to take motion sickness pills to not vomit from drinking?!

Question: I plan on drinking a lot of alcohol, is it OK to take motion sickness before pills so that I won't get sick? Those things make you not throw up right, so would that work?

You are correct BUT they make you sleepy too! Not a good thing for partying all night!

READ the directions! I could say do not take with alcohol!!

those pills make you really drowsy, and it is really DANGEROUS driving after taking those pills, beside even if someone else drives, you will be sleepy and you won't enjoy your night out.
It is better if you drink just the right amount, isn't it?

i doubt they will have any effect on wether you vomit or not because they are designed for motion sickness and have a method of action that will not prevent vomiting from too much alcohol

not motion sickness. but you may wanna take some chaser pills so your hangover is not so bad in the morning

Since you can type the question, I'm assuming you can read, too. The directions clearly state "DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL".

YOU figure it out.

Absolutely NOT is it ok! If you already know you are going to get sick from drinking you may have a drinking problem. If you drink to get too drunk, then you getting sick is your body trying to get rid of the alcohol. Motion sickness medication is for motion sickness...not to "trick" your body...drink water before you drink and eat food and don't mix many alcohols...drink in moderation and you won't get sick.

a few years ago when i first became legal to drink, i would take the pills called 'chaser.' i had sorta mixed results with them. they generally would cause me to throw up more, but my hangover wouldn't be too gnarly the next day. in my opinion, that is what's best.

Um, no. Other than the bad effects of mixing the drugs with alcohol, there is a reason you throw up. It's your body's way of expelling the extra alcohol before you get alcohol poisoning.

No.

Make sure you have some water in between drinks to keep your body hydrated. All that alcohol will dehydrate you, which is what makes you sick.

As a substitute, take some ginger pills or candied ginger. It will help with the vomiting and you wont have to worry about mixing pills with alcohol. Also, for every drink, have a glass of water... It will help keep you from a hangover in the morn.
