How can you tell if wine is bad?!

Question:

How can you tell if wine is bad?

Answers:
if it smells and tastes like vinegar.

Taste it.

How can something thats rotten go bad? (sorry if it can i drink my grape juice fresh)

It becomes vinegar-like.

For starters, look at the cork. If it is too dry, crumbly or it's got some kind of gray growth on it, it means that the wine has probably gone bad. Use it for cooking.

Then look at the actual wine itself when you pour it in a glass. If you twirl the wine around in the glass and it doesn't "bead" or "stream" down the sides of the glass in little rivers, it's bad. The other giveaway is if there is sediment (little grounds) at the bottom of the glass. Use it for cooking.

Then taste it. If it is sour, smells bad, has a vinegary taste or is just plain awful, don't even bother cooking with it. Toss it or get your money back.

Cheers!
