A shot is 2 oz. So if you are just starting to drink for the first time I would put 1 shot with 4 oz. of juice. Also be aware of how much food you have consumed within the past couple of hours. If you have had nothing you will get a bigger affect from the liquor. I have been drinking vodka and diet cranberry for a very long time and mix mine half and half. You can always add more vodka but be careful it has a way of sneaking up on you.

I recommend a ratio of 3 to 1. So, if you have a shotglass handy, a shot of vodka to three shots of juice.

I put half and half.

are you even old enough to drink?

If your coffee cup is the standard 5 oz. you would put in one ounce of vodka. For the more introduced to the drinking world on a responsible level, would use 1.5 ounces. Stay within these bounds to always drink to where you do not embarrass you!

1 part vodka to 3 parts juice.

Got a measuring cup? Use 45mL vodka. That's the standard amount of vodka for one drink (cocktail).

If you measure it beforehand, it will be easy to recall how many drinks you've had later on.

Hi,
Fill only one-sixth of the cup with vodka, top it up with juice, have ice also.
If you dont feel high enough, you can have a half drink after the first.
Cheers..
