technically it's not legal for you as a 17 year old to have or drink beer... but i was drinking when i was your age and i don't think there's anything wrong w/ it, so if you really want to go for it.

Better make a root beer.

if u want to go ahead, but it's not legal.

Wheat, yeast, hops, malt, and water. Are all very legal things in which you can purchase. The fact is simple, none of them contain alcohol.
Yet when you properly mix these ingredients and allow this to ferment, it becomes alcoholic thus making it illegal for you to possess these things.

So go ahead and buy the ingredients, thats legal. I'd just be careful with what you do with them.

No, it is not legal. In the US, you have to be 21 to purchase beer or have it in your possession. This means you can't homebrew either.

If you are stupid enough to ask that question, then I think you answered it yourself. Don't do drugs, or drink ummm K...

If something goes wrong with your home brewery you could end up accidentally poisoning yourself.

Just brew it!

The beer you'll make will taste nasty, and if it is the first time you're drankin, you're ganna most like blow grits and feel like crap the next morning. And keep in mind it takes a while for the stuff to ferment, and good luck finding some of the ingredients.

But as an experienced (underage) drinker, the home brewing kit is always a great back up if for some reason you can't get you're hands on any boose, i usually have a case to fall back on I.C.E. (in case of emergency)

This is a funny question.. Yah, go for it! It is illegal, but if you are gonna be at home and your dad doesn't care..then why not..

Well laws in the US tend to prohibit sales of alcohol. And you wouldn't be breaking those. And most communities allow underage persons to drink alcohol in their home or religious community with their parents consent, and you seem to be set up there. Check local ordinances on production/distribution of alcohol to see if any apply to you. (These are the ones you'll likely run into)
