Thunderbird is said to turn your lips black, is more heavy duty as well cheaper, so more desired by the hardcore desperate hobos. Both are made by the same company, so it can be guessed both are the same thing, except Night Train is mixed with more fruit juices and thus a little weaker and tastier but with almost the same punch. If you don't like the stuff you can always dilute it with soda just like other liquors. No one ever told you to drink it straight.

Thunderbird isn't a wine...it's rust removal liquid...just kidding. I never had Night Train...but in my younger days I did partake of Thunderbird only because it was so cheap. It was horrible...almost stripped away my vocal chords. Mad Dog 20/20 and Cold Duck is pretty bad too.

Yuck, they are both so bad, I wouldn't even try to salvage them by using them for cooking with.....
They rank with something from Boones Farm that was on the market years ago called Apple Dapple....tasted like burnt apple peels.....
