What is the best American beer?!

Question: Most suck, but Amber Boch is my favorite.

Answers: Most suck, but Amber Boch is my favorite.

Anything that is mass marketed can imediately be thrown out of consideration. No Budweiser, No Miller. Sadly enough as good as it is No Sam Adams.

And no, most American beers don't suck. Its just anything made by your large breweries suck.

Microbrews are a wonderful thing, and there are alot of them out there.

My vote for best american is either Kalamazoo Stout or Two Hearted Ale.

Drink good beer, Drink local beer.

bud light.

Miller Lite

We really don't have good beer in America, its all watered down swamp water.

Budweiser

Mongoose IPA by Hale's Ales of Seattle WA. Despite the fact they insult our intelligence by putting a meerkat, not a mongoose, on the label, the beer is great.

The reason most American beers "suck," is due to their brewing process. For some reason most American breweries brew with rice. This makes the beer bitter, thus it must be drunk cold to provide the beer taste and flavor. But, to answer your question.
Of all the various beers and their derivatives, Coors is probable the best. The reason is the water. Coors has always taken great care in the selection of the water used in their brewing process. That said, I do not drink any American beers.
Having lived in Europe for many years, I still find the Bavarian beers, John Smith, and the Belgium beers to be the best for my particular tastes.
