Is it common practise for bartenders to charge a "Handlers Fee" by taking a sip out of each drink you order?!

Question: No the bartender was flirting with you and thought that his/her action were cute.

EDIT:
If she was cute then you missed your chance to get a date. Go back tonight and see what she is up to... Are you dense or were you that drunk? Me I'm dense so I miss out on sh#t like that all the time.

I seriously doubt it.

heck no! that is super unproffesional, un sanitary, and probably illegal depending on your loal liquor laws

Definitely NOT! I wouldn't even drink from that glass and would complain to management...And I wouldn't even drink in that establishment again when that bartender was working!

no but lol @ the bartender. I think she liked you.

No way! Not to mention, it violates most liquor laws for anyone serving/working there to consume alcohol while on duty. Plus, that's gross.

She wants it

Not if you let him/her sample your date
