Why does stella artois make me but other alcoholic beverages don't?!
Answers: It's true, I've noticed that when I drink stella I get angry at least once. With other stronger alcohols like vodka and whisky, I'm just merry. Why?
they call stella 'wife beater' where i lve because stella makes people react differently and makes them more aggressive. Its because of the alcohol content in it. there thinking about banning it or making a version that has a lower alcohol content
Some ingredient in it. My daughter's the same. Don't argue with her when she's had 2 pints of Stella.

i can drink anything else and im finem, im ok on a couple of pints but when i get to like 5/6,thats it .i wana fight the world.i dont drink it very often now

Hmm I think you just need to get used to it. I live in Belgium, so as you can guess I'm drinking Stella Artois all the time when I go out, and usually something like thirteen pints spread out over the evening. But I have never got into a fight or an arguement or something like that when I go out. I think the problem is that British people are more used to beverages with a lower alcohol level. But in Belgium, the wife beaters don't drink Stella, ( as a matter of fact, most of the 'normal' people drink Stella), but some cheap beer like Cara pils, or Karlsquel. However I can imagine if you drink to much of it at the beginning, you may start feeling slightly different. Once you get used to it however, it's just divine
Certain alcohol drinks react differently with people... I've knew a guy that was fine, unless he had whiskey... then watch out!
Good question man, I always get in trouble when drinking that stuff, it couls be from the water they use to make it. Another side effect of Stella, it makes me poop really bad the next day. Anyone else have that problem?
The one who talked about Stella being high in alcohol and "them" thinking about banning it or lowering the ABV is a completely uninformed moron and making sh*t up!
Stella Artois is roughly 5% ABV. That's equal to Bud, MGD, Coors, Bass, Heineken, Corona, St. Pauli Girl, Becks... see a pattern here? Most mass-produced simple beers are right about the same strength: 5% ABV (give or take).
As far as why it makes you wanna fight? My guess is either the company you're drinking with, the atmosphere in the place you're drinking, or a mental association with the drink. There is nothing in the liquid itself that could cause this.
