How do they make rum in Nepal?!


Question: How does Nepal Distilleries make their rum? Do they use sugar cane? If not, what are they using? Where can I get the Coronation Khukri Rum in the Gurkha-shaped decanter?

Rum is made from molasses, and I imagine they can grow a lot of sugar in the lower reaches of Nepal, -or maybe sorghum, which is also a kind of molasses and can be grown at colder altitudes...

the same way they make it in the caribeean expect they are higher up in the air...
and they have to wear dead animals because it is cold...very cold....
