Go to a wine tasting, wine dinner, take a sommelier class at a culinary school or a vinter in your area. Sample various wines. The first answerer is correct, many people like many different wines. I personally like sparkling dessert wines yet I know people who love reds.

You can buy either direct from a vinter, or from a Wine & Spirits if you live in a control state.
