What is a dam nice champagne to drink?!

Question:

What is a dam nice champagne to drink?

Im from australia. I dont like them to dry.

Answers:
This is not technically a champagne but it's a sparkling (fizzy) white wine and very tasty (I don't like dry either) - try Martino & Rossi brand of Asti Spumante. Cheers!

maybe you should try moet chardon

Moet, and Mumm are good choices, they are good champagnes, about $60 CDN/AUS, if you want to splurge a little, Cristal or Dom Perignon, about $200 a bottle.

Good to enjoy with caviar, best enjoyed with close friends.

Oh...I guess I should be more specific...I am not expert about champagnes by any means, but if you're going to splurge for Dom Perignon, go for '92, it's a very good year, and it's $200...I am told there's special '93 that goes for $10 000 a bottle....yikes, I rather have a car.

MOET and CHANDON

"Don Perriogn", 1969 (bring your wallet) !!!

Fragolino
Color: Red
Color: Sparkling / Champagne
Taste: Very Fruity/Sweet
Food Choices: Desserts/Aperitif, Salads / Vegetables

You can't go wrong w/ Dom. Dom Pérignon is always a good choice.

Chataeu Lafite Rochschild

The best champagne to drink is Dom Perignon, although it is expensive

Dont drink . Thats not healthy.

I would advise Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial. It is a good "not too dry not too sweet champagne" Moet do make a version called Nectar (sweet by champagne standards, you may love it) that is a good drink also, needs to be served very cold to suit my taste.

Veuve Clicquot .. the best champagne ever!

Krug
Grande Année Brut
Reims, Champagne, France

Here are three I've tried and really enjoyed!

This marque represents a variation on the Mo?t & Chandon style, with a character all its own. It is balanced and harmonious, with mellow, well-developed flavors. Color: Golden yellow with shades of amber.
Aroma: Very delicate with aromas of flowers, hazelnuts and biscuits.
Palate: Soft with a fruity finish evocative of peaches.
Food Pairing: Particularly suitable as an apértif wine, White Star can be served with cheese-based entrées as well as with oysters or fish.
"A bright, firm, fruity wine, the flavor dominated by black grapes but with a good amount of Chardonnay, too; it always seems to improve a lot with a further 12 months in bottle after shipment." Michael Edwards, The Champagne Companion.
$34.60, 3 for $98.61, 6 for $186.84, 12 for $352.92
