Answers:
As a bartender, all tips are appreciated. If you like staying in the good graces of your bartender then it depends on what you get. If you get a beer or a well drink for yourself only then a buck is good but if you are spending 25 or more dollars on a round of drinks then I would say at least 5 for every 25 dollars is fair. Bartenders aren't greedy people and for those if people don't have alot of money then what they can give is alright but if you are a blow hard that screams at us to keep pouring and you only tip a buck or two after spending 50 bucks on a round of drinks for your buddies then hope and pray that you never ask me for another drink...because I guarentee that my thumb will limit the amount of booze that comes out of my bottles and into that glass that is overflowing with ice.

buck a drink

as much as they deserve

Nothing, why would you tip somebody for doing the job that they already get paid to do?

Anything you'd like... I generally give them a dollar per drink.

I usually tip a dollar per drink

$10

10 percent of the total

In the UK, nothing. We don't tip bartenders. They look surprised enough if you offer them a drink! If I offered a bar person money for getting my drinks I'd get some bloody odd looks!

depends how high end the bar is. for a LONG running tab of mixed drink...5-10 dollars...for beers 5....for shots....how ever much your drunken side decides

Or the simple a dollar a drink

a buck if its really busy because everyone else is tipping too...two if its super slow..got to help out..they are just trying to make a living

Each bartender wants at least $1 per drink that they make, I am a certified bartender so this is how I know

I generally tip a dollar every 2 drinks. I guess logistics could play a factor though...I live in rural Iowa. Someone in New York City or Chicago for example may be expected to tip more.

Depends on if they are attractive or not. If my fiance and i think its a chick and she is hot, we tip like 10 dollars on six drinks.

If they are blah, just the change..... or a dollar.

depends on the service some I dont tip at all T.I.P.S = to insure prompt service

That depends, if you just get to a bar, and you want immediate refills, then give them $5 to start, this makes you a priority, then, after that, $1 a drink is ok.

You can give em whatever you feel like. Anywhere from 50 cents - $2.00 sounds good. I personally don't drink though.

Usually, you are suppossed to tip $1.00 a drink. Could you please vote me as a best answer?

20%

Anyone who preforms a service to your satisfaction should be tipped 15 to 25 % of the bill.

I give them a dollar for every three drinks. If you have a party of four, it adds up quite nicely for the bartender. If it's a more expensive place, tip twenty percent of your total bill.

depends where u live. In the states u try to tip 20% of the cost w/a minimum of $1 per drink in case there are drink specials (example: $2 house margaritas) . Remember try to always tip the same bartender and if u know u will become a regular the more generous u are...the more generous they will be

I usually do a dollar a drink. I always appreciated that when I was bartending. If they were awesome, I'll give them an extra $5 at the end of the night.

It depends on if they are a girl with large breasts.

15% gratuity!

I tip a buck a drink. Two if the batender is hot.

if its a bar that you really like or one that you are checkin out and kinda like tip a lil bit better they might remember you and might hook ya up on your drinks. it should be the same when you go out to eat......true that it might be there job but for most its the only job they have and live off of there tips until there pay check comes.

I always give mine a dollar a drink and then a bigger amount before I leave depending on how well they served me. If they came back quickly after the first dollar tip, I keep it at a dollar then throw them a 5 or 10 at the end of the night (depending what type of bar I'm at)

depends on how drunk u are

Dollar for a basic drink and 2 or 3 for something that takes a little more work.
